that's the one I use - I would not be concerned about the weather if she really needs a shave - just limit her time outside if she seems cold.
shave the pits no matter what the season (I also use it to shave the poop chute ) There is a better cblade to use when she isn't matted - the 3/4, although I still haven't shaved Morgan with it and need to - maybe this weekend. |
thanks Kerry, I now just have to get my nerve up and I will get a few more blades later as I would like to have her in a puppy cut this summer. |
You can do it! That's the one I use too. The two speed version. I use the #10 blade to do the sanitary trim and in between the paw pads. It's great for those trims.
Be brave. It's not nearly as hard as you think. |
It's not too hard to do, you'll get the hang of it quickly
I don't like shaving them at this time of year either but sometimes it can't be avoided and it does grow back quickly. Maybe just don't let her play outside too long for a few weeks til she has a bit more coat. I shaved Sky down a couple of weeks ago too.... |
