Work and schedule Question
I forgot to put my schedule in..Its that brain on vacation thing going on 
My manager called me this morning to let me know that I forgot  and asked if I had any days that I needed off since she is doing the schedule and wanted to get it done.
I work 2 eights and 2 twelves a week and I have to work only eights on Tuesday because we have agility class at 7:30 and if I worked a long day I don't get home till eight. When I told my manager that I can only work an eight on Tuesday she asked me why.  None of your dang business was my thought. I did tell her that I have a class on Tuesday and since I payed for it I am going.

| I agree with Ron. Maybe she was just curious and had no real intent on WHY she wanted to know. But I do think you have the right to not say if you don't want to.

| well, it depends. if your job requires you to be available and you aren't then she does have a right to ask. I have had to juggle "priorities " of staff when we needed coverage and soemtimes had to ask people with "plans " to change them so that people with sick family members, or prepaid classes or theatre tickets could be off. |
