Oh my! that is scary. I hate to have dreams that bother me the next day.
Think good thoughts You might have some quilt if you have to leave them alone LOL I never know why we dream the things we do. |

I was dreaming that I was at work and one of you from the message board left a message on my cell phone that I shouldnt leave beau outside unattended and that he had run off and you (whoever you is) had found him. As I was racing home I called your phone and asked who you were and did you live near me and how would you know my dogs. Only to reach home and find my doggies all safe and sound. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. I think I was crying in my sleep. geez LOL
Weird! I also had a dream that Bear and Clyde were missing and they were also home safe when I got there. |
If I'm the member you dreamt about ...then it was a nightmare!
I feel for you as those kinds of dreams where you lose or something happens to one of your pets are the worse. Like OES Mommy said , the ones with strong emotions the following day are not fun as it feels like it really happened. Your furbaby probably liked getting the extra hugs that morning I bet. In my dream I kept thinking it was willowsprite. And I remember thinking my kids let the dogs out without securing them . It was a horrible dream but I woke up to a face washing with Beauies big wet nose in my face LOL |
I did all this research into dreams for a class project and one of my sources said that when u dream about pets, its actually representing parts of your personality or person-hood and your subconscious is helping you become aware of a problem within your own psych
Well that was a mouthful huh Ren M |
Oh dear. I had a dream the other night that I had TWO sheepies and neither would come when I called! They came back in their own time eventually though. Maybe my subconscious is running amok |
That dream would freak me out too!! Its kind of unsettling for the whole next day for me.
I've only ever dreamt about my dogs that I can remember, twice. First time after my first dog crossed the bridge. A few weeks later I dreamt a very realistic dream that he came crawling under a gap in a fence to see me. I was so happy to see him that I woke myself up calling out his name but not before I realised he was all young again, with a big grin on his face and not stiff and arthritic which is why we had to let him go. I think he came to tell me he had crossed the bridge and was young and happy again waiting for me. Second time was a year later after my first dalmo crossed. Similar kind of realistic dream. He was running up the path and looking cheeky over his shoulder at me and not coming when I called. He did that all his life, quite naughty really. He didnt have the limp from his hip surgery and was all full of spunk. Then he suddenly turned into 6 month old puppy. I think that was a message to me that he was OK with me getting another dalmo, which I did. Both dreams were sad but comforting too. |
Mim that is such a nice post. They came back to say " MOM I am OK now. No pain" I think thats a lucky you. I wish I could have the dream about Flannigan. His stroke left him totally useless. He just loooked at me like What happened. I'de love to know he is OK. The same with Fergie. |
that book also said if you dream about people u know they are representing characteristics of yourself that u see in them. But i don't necessarily agree when i have dreams about my family, i think that it is actually my family they're representing them not me!

Hi OES Mommy, I do feel blessed by those dreams. My sister in law had a dream like those ages after her dog crossed so maybe your furbabies are having so much fun they've not gotten round to letting you know they're doing great yet. You never know you still might get a dream message from them. |
