Now comes the embarrasing part. Two weeks ago, I sent John, our Christmas cards and two packages to the post office. He was to mail everything. WELL-- his cousin ( who is a mail carrier) called my cell last night. It seems that they found our cards in the post office, in the small bag I put them in , between two tables in the lobby... WHAT!!!! John said he remembers being in that area, putting additional tape on the packages. He must have knocked the cards off the table, and ,he says in the confusion of the mess at the post office, just walked off and forgot. WHAT!!! They found them a few days ago, and said something to cousin yesterday, wondering if he knew us, because of the name on the return address. Don said because there were no stamps on them , the post office just held them..... Of course that was John's OTHER assigment. Buy stamps and put them ON THE CARDS. So-- I am uploading what would have been our card to you , and will mail them when I get back to OHIO. I guess late is better than never. As soon as I get approval, I will post the pictures. SO--- A VERY BELATED" MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL OF OUR FREINDS ON THE FORUM" |
