..But opening your presents on Xmas eve... that is just wrong! No, it's actually "normal" for us! Everywhere in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain,Italy etc. etc. they all have christmas on christmas eve, apart from UK and USA!! (Dont know who else??) I could never open my presents next day in the morning, it's not dark and I can "see" Father Christmas coming and bringing my presents!! LOL Thanks for your lovely cards, it was VERY nice!!!! xx Greetings to Ru!!! from Charlie xxx ..... oh yeah Max got "Games workshop" Books,Raincoat and trousers and waterproofed shoes to walk Charlie ha ha!, Lego ! (YES!), nice shirts, a watch, me a Rowan Atkinson Video, a part for my computer to download pictures from the digital camera, sweets, a rock cd from a friend, more chocolate and some small stuff! Charlie got loads of treats, treats and treats and me and Charlie got this stick with the ball, you know the one where you can throw the ball and pick it up with the stick!! |
Haha Monika you crack me up!
Greg got waterproof shoes too- no excuses not to walk Ru now And the stick thing is called a Flingy in our house "we went flinging" they are really great, you can throw the ball really far |
In Australia we are just confused about when to open presents. Probably because we have a multicultural background.
Some even open one or two on Christmas eve and the rest Christmas day. I'm for that tradition, it means you need more presents to open. |
