Heart's first Christmas...with PEOPLE!!!!!!
FOR PAST Christmas's BH (before Heart), Pearl and Coz would stay in our bedroom for most of the day. They were content with special stuffed bones, their tuffet and the TV, set on the AP, to entertain them. At the end of the day they come out to see everyone and get some more special treats from the remaining guests.... MY PLAN for this year WAS the same except to add Heart to the mix.  
Well...should I tell you that Heart had other plans????? VERY different plans and she made it known!!! LOUDLY!!! 8O 
It took maybe 10 minutes after the first guests arrived for Dino to gently tug my arm, lean toward me as if to give me a little Christmas kiss...but instead, smiled sweetly and whispered in my ear.........""Get Heart out of there NOW..."". So....my dear forum friends...SHE WON!!!!! I took Heart and Pearl (Coz was so much happier in our room...he didn't even come to the door when I opened it..he had his assignement...KILL the bone!!!!.  )
I put them on a down/stay by the back door and of course Pearl did not move....Heart would venture into the general population from time to time, look at me....and then rush to lay be Pearl again. We had 7 chldren who ran around most of the day but to Heart's credit she REALLY wanted to play but she was able to control the urge even after one of the kids tried to get her to play chase...(again, she looked at me...I gave her THE LOOK I used to give my kids) and she'd lay down... I am so proud of my little girl...I guess she IS growing up....S -L-O-W-L-Y-!!!!!!!!!! :roll:  |

You should be very proud, as should her breeder, Ali. Now, me? 28 people? I'd be in the bedroom with Coz hiding out!

Heart was a very good girl!!! Don't they grow up quick! Heart does have the best role model (Pearl). She'll probably follow in her footsteps.  |
