| I didn't have a pony. It was barely shoulder length, but it was a bob, so no layers. Lots of layers now! And spikes! I was surprised at how much hair was on the floor...and how much  grey!!! |

it looks great...I had mine cut from below shoulder length to chin length a few months ago, To be honest I hate drying my hair, and it is OK in the summer but not this time of the year. All I was doing with my long hair was washing it once a week and putting it in a pony tail and twisting it up. I do miss messing about with it but I can do Summers! And she has all the hair bands now instead of us having to share!  |

| I just felt like my hair needed some structure and a purpose for a change. I get lazy when it's long and curly and just let it go. It looks sort of messy all the time. It suits me and isn't bad, but now that I'm job hunting, I felt like I needed something more professional. When it's longer and I have to straighten it with the flat iron, it takes FOREVER and it drys my hair out so quickly and gives me split ends - which I hate. So, this is a win-win for me. |

| I just now saw this post- sorry so late.
I really like your new cut! Sharp Darcy- I still have mine if you want it. I had it cut the day before Thanksgiving - already over a year ago. I have to admit I saved it to send to YOU, until I heard how expensive it is to have real hair wigs made! (plus I figured it was a little creepy to send you my long cut off hair)
And BTW - I will never go back to long hair. I just had it cut again - not too butch this time. So glad I don't have to do anything to it anymore! Shellie |

As long as we're all sharing our haircut stories, here's a pic to go with mine. I actually wound up liking my hair short more than I expected to. I like being able to wear hats. I like it better facing forward but this is the better picture! It's already been on Facebook for awhile but all of you who haven't seen it...  |

I just went coca brown-- after being a highlighted blonde for 40 years. I was a junior in high school when I first "frosted" my hair, and have been blonde ever since.... Decided it was time for a change and am now shorter and chocolate... I like it, but , I REALLY like that I had to buy all new makeup to compliment the color (or, so I told John) |
