In addition to our new scooter (thanks val) I got them a stocking filled with stuffed and vinyl toys, Morgan and Beowulf got Christmas puzzle toys and Marley a stuffed Christmas ornament. I also did get them the bubble machine. |
|
New toys, a couple new dog beds (not for Chewie), a 3 wheeled cart, some dog treats from the basset rescue.
Also assorted gifts for the kids' dogs - all the above plus some grooming wipes, and dog clothes for the little Wayla! |
I have 16 assorted toys from petedge in a big cardboard box that I will let them investigate on Christmas morning. I have to get enough so there are no arguements. |
Nylabones. That's all my dogs like. Isaac will play with stuffed toys but the others tend to play tug & rip them. One of my show homes did buy my dogs the neatest octopus to play with. It is a bit pricey but made out of sturdy cloth with mesh inside. Guaranteed to outlast regular stuffed animal. So far they have just gone up & sniffed it. It stands on all eight legs! |
Our dogs are getting coal!
Except for Frank who is always a good boy. |

Would love to know how well it stands up and where to get one. My guys love to run after the dog carrying the long stuffed tug toy. |
My eldest son got the doggies a "New Grooming Table", longer for the oompa loompa boy so his head does not hang over the edge. The girls are enjoying more room on the table too, babette loves to stretch right out and fall asleep, she snores on the table now, not very lady like but she is our "Tom Boy".
Syd loves the new table and YEP we are using it early. From us the fur kids are getting Deli Delight dog bikkies, like Salmon Slobber, Cheesy Garlick just a few flavours in the bikkies. No Stuffies for the babies, Great Auntie Kelsey has taught them well "TERMINATE" those stuffed thingys. The Bunjee rope is lasting and working well, a chrissy pressie from their brother, Hmmm wonder if they knew something when they picked a present for their boys siblings Mummy Brie is getting some new Stuffies to mother after her Brat Pack has done a good job on her existing stuffed babies Now I will have to remember when the babies are in the family room, mummys stuffies go away We have a new Pink giant flea for her after the babies destroyed the other one We have replaced this one for Brie as she adored it but the brat pack got to it. So Santa has a new one for her. |
Garfunkel only chews on bones so he got two new ones, a new bone and a ball for Simon and some treats and chewy things for both. I wanted to get a stuffy but dh says that Simon pulls the stuffing out...funny I don't remember that |
Obe got his new boots:
He also got the stuffed bear which he already took off the table. Some new bones (hidden) so he wont find them. Some treats and I'm sure I will end up getting him something else. |
Usually we always do a stocking for them, but this Christmas will have too much traveling, so I don't think I'll bother. The extended family will probably include them though. Their gift is getting to come with us. My cats get the gift of staying home and eating 100x more food than usual since I'll leave it out while we're gone. To them, it'll be the best present ever although I'll have a cat screaming at me for at least 10 minutes upon returning (doesn't like when we leave). So, I guess they get screwed this year. |
This year Baloo will be getting some chew treats, some nice new tennis balls (He plays with them soo much that he will crack them open), a stuffed animal. I was going to get more.. but hubby says he is spoiled enough.
whatever |
^^
Why not try some kong balls or just tough chew balls? We've learned getting tennis balls are pointless b/c our boy can go through 10 in a day just from one catch and then him running to bring it back to us (w/his teeth cracked in it). |
^^
We have tried some different ones. We can't get him to have anything BUT tennis balls. I even tried different textures... Did you do anything "special" to get his interest in the other ones? Baloo will just look at them, then at us like he is thinking WHAT? That's not my ball. What do you want me to do with THAT? He will play with this old soccer ball he loves. it's 1/2 deflated.. but I don't like it in the house, and its easier for me to put a tennis ball in my pocket when walking than to carry the soccer ball... Please tell me if anyone has a trick to getting him interested in another type ball ~ or one that is just terrific. (He just won't play with the kong/rubber ones) Crazy Dog |
Ohhh... man that stinks!!!! My SIL's dog is the same way but a shih tzu, so she doesn't actually go through her tennis balls so fast. Sorry!!!!!!!!!!! Your problems sounds $$$ |

NOTHING!
Mo's vet bills ate up that account. Anyway, mine don't play with toys. Harry could use a doggie coat to protect from skin tears when he bashes thru the brush. MO already got her boots.......she's so happy with them.. Jack and Glacier will have to do with extra kisses |
My spoiled darlings are getting, 2 toys each, a rawhide gingerbread boy (each) and a new Kong for each of them. But remember...we are also celebrating their birthdays since Pirate's is Dec 25th, and Lizzie's is Dec. 27th...and we don't know when Keira's birthday is. |
well here is something I didn't think of:

That is a cool idea. Mine didn't have lights or music though when I was a kid. |
How cool,my son had one of those 30 years ago,now I wish I had kept it.That poodle is as insane as our labradoodle. |
new kongs, dog biscuits, and a squeaky toy each. Dexter is getting silkworms. We had to drive 3 hours to get them because it's not safe to ship them right now. He loooves them and hasn't had them in a few weeks.
The cats got a new scratching post and some catnip toys. |
