Hi,
Not sure if you have left on your trip already, but if you haven't I would recommend the Residence Inn by Marriott. We actually just stayed in the Nashville Residence Inn several weeks ago with our sheepie on a road trip from San Antonio, Texas to Northern Virginia. They do charge a $150 pet fee (but you could always try the 'sneak in' method). Residence Inns are always clean & comfortable. I'm a bit picky and while it is not the Ritz (though I don't think the Ritz allows dogs, anyways) but we always stay in Residence Inns as we have 2 young children (1 and 3 year old) and on road trips, a sheepdog. We're never disappointed. Email me if you have any questions. |
Thanks for your advice, I will have to keep that one in mind for next time. I am actually in the process of writing a review for the hotel we stayed at. It was pretty cool! It's called The Hotel Preston. A "modern" hotel in Nashville that was conveniently located closely to an interstate junction and was crawling with dogs....and it was only $50 for the sheepie. That and they give you a dog bowl, treats, and a rubber toy bone. It wasn't the best quality stuff, but it did lessen the pet-fee blow that I thought was a little high.
Oh, and when you walked in, there was a pink dress in a glass case in the lobby! |
