* 9C Rice Chex (only need 1 box) * 1C semisweet chococlate chips (i used combo of milk&semi) * 1/2C PB * 1/4C butter * 1t vanilla * 1.5C powdered sugar measure cereal out and set in large bowl in a microwavable bowl, dump chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter and heat up for a minute, stir, and then 10 sec intervals until all melted. Then put in vanilla. Pour over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2-gallon resealable food-storage plastic bag. Add powdered sugar. Seal & shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool and harden a bit. Store in airtight container in refrigerator (I stored mine at room temp w/no problems). |
