I am so beyond excited,  happy,  crazy,  happy .....PROUD!!! She managed to focus on me when that BIG BAD PLASTIC bag was shaken close to her and she went up and greeted a very nice person who was rolling toward her~~~~~~(in a wheelchair)....YIKES~~~~~~ 
She was sooo happy...or...maybe she just wanted the yummie treat I had in my pocket  ---- well, I'm happy!!!!!!  |

Dan told our trainer today he want sot get a TDI with Beowulf. I am not sure who was more surprised me (who thought he hated the trainer) or the trainer (who thinks Beowulf may scare the S___ out of the old elderly) way to go Heart!!! |

I'd love to get a TDI with Fitzwilliam - I think it would be a long, long road to get there though. There are courses that you can take, is that right? Training, lots of training? I take Fitz into a facility for seniors every week to visit my mom, and the residents there love him so much, he's quite the favorite. But unfortunately he's also quite shy ... and not always terribly well-behaved: yesterday, for example, his leash unclipped itself from his collar and he took off at a flat out gallop, totally & completely ignoring me. 'Ats my boy, yep.

If you need more (you said he is shy - maybe work with w/c, medical stuff and odd sounding and behaving people) then you may need some more help. Some areas offer specific classes for therapy dog work. However, I teach my classes with enough temptations, distractions and such that none have ever had a problem passing!
