We just returned from Bailee's second Vet visit. All is going well for the furry little fellow, his weight doubled in one month to a little more than 21 pounds. He received his DHPP shot and our Vet asked if we wanted him to receive a Lyme's vaccine. We live in New Jersey but Bailee will not be out in any woods (unless he sneaks off on us) and we are looking for any thoughts on the need for the shot. We do not live near any woods and do not do any camping. All of his exercise (walks amounting to 4 to 5 miles daily) are done on the pavements and streets were we live and we have a fair size yard were he plays. |

if there is any chance that rabbits or deer or other wild life walk near where you walk and lyme is in the area (most likely) your dog can be exposed to lyme, as can you.
tall grass is the culprit, not the woods. |
