I let lizzie out of hers around 6:30 am, she has to EAT first, but then will snooze until mid-morning before she want s to go out. |
Our fellow is let out of his crate about 7:30 am, and
then frantically waves his paw while sliding into a down position. This is his response to us asking him to go out. He then takes a short nap or plays with a toy. When he is ready to go out he barks and does a little half hop. No wonder why the obedience training class is to teach us!!!! |
Farley starts getting restless around 5:30. I'll let him out around 6 and we bounce downstairs and wiggle right out the door to do piddles. He comes right back in and starts telling me he's so hungry. He practicallly points at his ribs saying, "Look - poor me - starving to death! So tortured. I am." Bawoooo ... bawoooo ... He then proceeds to sit on my feet in the kitchen as I prep his breakfast. He bounces like a bunny rabbit as I walk him and his breakfast to the porch (that's where our dogs eat). He eats with great gusto. He then plays for an hour and a half before he goes back in to his crate for a nap. Poor Farley. Such a tortured life! |
Henry is definitely a night owl. He needs to go out early in the morning but seems perfectly happy to come back to the bedroom and sleep on the floor next to me when I sleep in until 9 or 10. Breakfast can wait until we get up. In the evening however, he had better get his dinner by 6 pm or else!! |
