In view of some of the other requests we've had for breeder recommendations, here is what I'd recommend that you do: contact the breeder you've decided on and ask them for some referrals. The breeder should have a list of people who have purchased pups from them before hand. If possible talk to both pet owners, and , if they sell to other breeder/showetrs, speak to them as well- This should give you a good sense of pup health into the future, general happiness of the buyer, etc. good luck with your dog search! You've received good advice from Karen and I'd follow up on what she suggested. You could also surf the net and find the number to F.I.D.O, The American Kennel Association, or the Canadian one and ask for their input.
