Happy Birthday Sweet Kiera, Happy Birthday to you...
Tomorrow will be my Kiera Jean's 10th birthday! Kiera came to us through a private adoption, she had been purchased from a local pet store, given to another family, and then another family who then wanted to retire and gave her up to their groomers. The groomers posted her as available, so when we were looking for a female, we came across her. To make a very long story short, she was not exactly thrilled being sent to yet another home to live and so she decided that she was going to give me the cold shoulder. That lasted about 6 months till one day when I arrived home I got a tiny little kiss from her. Now some 6 1/2 years later, she is my darling girl, she loves me and I love her. The photo above was one taken last summer. She looks very different now, she has lost a great deal of weight and is much happier and more active. I love my darling sweet Kiera.. The photo below is one taken in 2005.
