| Thank you Ron! I hope everyone has a very plentiful and delicious Turkey Day! In these trying times, I know alot of people are making do with less; I hope that at least for Thanksgiving we can all splurge a little and have that extra helping of sweet potatoes! |

| This is absolutely my favorite holiday!!!! Family together, laughing, eating, telling stories, loving each other...without the pressure of gift giving...its all just about being Thankful. Tony's family is coming in today from St. Louis. We've planned a fun filled tourist weekend for them. A play for the kids, a trip to the city (Chicago) to go to the Shedd Aquarium and shopping on Michigan Avenue...lunch at the Signature room (95th floor John Hancock center). We'll be taking the train into the city, and the kids (ages 4 and 5) have never been on a train...neither has my MIL. So it should be a blast! And of course, tomorrow, we will have an all day feast..after the day starts with my traditional Baileys and coffee whilst watching the Macy Parade! The only cloud is that my son in California will not be coming home...and this will be the first Thanksgiving without him  Happy Thanksgiving to all of you...and I want you to know...I am so thankful for this forum and all the friends I've made. Thank you, Ron, for making it possible  |

This is our second year of hosting our family, I love cooking. I would like to give it up in a few years though and volunteer for a rescue ( human ) organization. |

| I think I have food overload. Leftovers are now gone, as are the in-laws! and tomorrow...back to health! Hope you all had a great holiday! |
