I received an e-mail this morning telling me that agility class was canceled. I did not go on the computer at all today..until after I got back from waiting for agility class. An employee at the dog daycare, where the class is held, told me the class was canceled as she turned off the lights and locked up for the night I am not happy!!!! |

I check multiple times daily as that is my email for anyone wanting portraits of their critters. |
I check my e-mail every five minutes. All my accounts run every five minutes and let me know if I have new mail. If I'm away from a computer, I check it on my phone. I wayyyyyyyy prefer an e-mail to a phone call so I'd rather communicate that way. |
I telecommute and my work is email driven. So email is open all day, checks the server for new mail every 3 minutes and I check my personal email several times daily as well. Like ButterStotch, if I'm away from the computer I use my phone to manage my work.
It's handy in that I have a lot of freedom (sure, I can meet you for a three hour lunch and shopping, no problem. ). |
I check mine several times a day.
Not however, in the 11+ hrs that I am at work. My new job in homecare does not give me my email access. I am at school with my client - 9th grader. There is a crappy Mac in the classroom, but it is set to block emails. (kids!) The rest of the time I am in their home, so no computer for me between 6a and 5p. I did have an issue when a meeting in the cities was cancelled d/t weather (our TCOESC meeting). I was planning on driving up (2 hrs) right from work. We communicate by email, as we live all over the area. I did have the forsight to call another member, and fund out the meeting was cancelled. I emailed the secretary back, and she kindly noted that I am without email access during the day, and will call my cell to notify me in the future. I thought that was very nice! |
I am email addicted!!!!!!!
I check all the time, BUT, I know what you are saying because, I have had people complain to me that they sent Marty an email for whatever.... he checks maybe once a week! MAYBE! |
I to check it MANY times aday. I get so many that I can't let it go. |
I check my 3 email accounts several times a day each. I'm on the computer ALOT. |
I check mine twice a day, more if I am at home doing nothing. I try not to be online all day but I live in the middle of nowhere and it's boring! I'm getting some books for Christmas, that should give me something else to do |
one word - Blackberry!!
I also check my none blackberry eail throughout the work day, I don't always check it on the weekend or when I am of, |
I, too, check several times a day. I can't help it |
I check my email couple times a day. at work email and inter-office IM's are the MAIN communication mode .... so that when I get home I wouldn't even be interested in getting on the computer-- except long enough to check my personal email.... |
I check several times daily if time allows. Since e-mailling I have gotten rid of my answering machine! If it's important, everyone knows to email or call again later. |
I check MANY times a day, lol. I'm not as fast on weekends since my computer at home is slow, but at work I check every few minutes and at home a few times a day! |
I check mine at least 3 or 4 times a day, if I'm not at work then every hour or so. |

ditto, ditto, ditto! Also check email often during day.......if I'm home. Away would mean using a cell phone, etc and I'm not doing that! |

Oh, me too. And don't even bother leaving me a voice mail. I check that maybe once a week, as frequently as I check my regular mail I tell close friends that if they leave me an important voicemail they'd better e-mail me to remind me to check my voicemail I don't check my e-mail from my phone, though. Some times I like being completely "offline". Most weekends I don't even answer my phone unless I'm driving somewhere, but I do usually walk by my office to check e-mail at least once an hour if I'm in the house. Kristine |
E-mail Oooooh yes Every day constantly Cell phones I always forget to turn it on when out and always getting into trouble for not having it on.
I love the fact with e-mails you can communicate with people from all over the place so easily. E-mail opens the world, phoning especially to overseas is so darn costly here so love the e-mail to keep in touch. |
I check my e mails a couple of times a day...each time I turn on the computer. |
I check my e-mail WAY too much each day! But that's OK. I love hearing from people. And I'd much rather get an e-mail than a phone call unless it is a real emergency. And then on my cell. Can't seem to convince my Mom of this. She is computer literate & has an easy to use cell that uses NO minutes if she calls me or I call her. But she STILL calls my land line using her cell! |
i check it daily usually after work. |
yup i check the second i hear the "bleep'' noise that lets me know that i have new email! |
