Introducing Winston!
Hi, I'm Winston. I like to run, and I'm going to get you. 
See, just look at how I'm getting Barkley. Too bad he's faster than me. Soon I'll be able to get him, just like I got you. 
I like to pose for pictures... 
But I really like to run at people and other dogs. 
I'm not sure that Barkely always appreciates my puppy enthusiasm for getting things/dogs and people. 
I even do cute and sedate sometimes. It never lasts long. Yes indeedy, we have a new puppy. Winston came home November 2nd, and has been terrorizing Barkley ever since. They now play constantly, and Winston has to be crated so that he'll rest. I'm pretty sure he'd play himself to death, given the opportunity. I tested it once, and he and Barkley went non-stop for over an hour... |

Yeah, don't let the cute fool you (not a problem for ButtersStotch since she has Owen), but he's all full of bite and play and toy stealing. He's taken to doing the "slow stalk" as if he thinks Barkley can't see him if he moves slowly. He walks very slowly with head down until he's about 5 feet away, then rushes in with mouth snapping and paws flying. Super cute, but only because Barkley puts up with it. When his puppy license expires, he's going to get one hell of a lesson in manners, methinks. |
| For sure! He looks so serious and focused at the task at hand in all his pics (the task being playing, of course).
Ugh, the bites. I'm so happy the bites are almost gone. Only once in a great while now, during very rambunctious play, Owen gets caught up and tries to include us in his games. He gives what I call the "turkey leg" bite. It's one big bite that involves most of my upper arm in his mouth, like he's enjoying a big Renaissance Fair turkey leg. Be on the lookout, you'll get it, too.  |
