How's everyone else doing in regards to Christmas preparation? |
|
you mean that's on the calendar again this year? |
Haven't even begun. And now since my best friend is a "former" friend, I won't have much to buy! |
Just finished the cards today
I only have a couple of small things to buy, everyone knows I'm looking for work so I'm off the hook as far as buying things goes. I've decided to do stuff for people instead, but probably as surprises, seeing as I have the spare time. I'm going to clean a few cars, houses, walk a few dogs and babysit, that kind of thing. Oh, and COOK |
huh ? |
R U kidding? |
(It's not THAT time of year again...is it????? I just got done paying for 07!!! ) |
I am now officially depressed. |
Jeez! These organized people are something else! Technically, I do have most of my "gifting" done as kids & grandkids prefer shopping with me to pick out the items or just the "green" stuff that fits everyone! Now when it comes to baking & decorating that's another thing. I have to get past the next set of dog shows this weekend first. Then I have Thanksgiving to take care of. Starting "the day after", I have exactly 10 days to decorate, put up the tree, bake & do cards as I have friends & dogs coming in for the big shows in Cleveland to end the dog show year. After that I should be all set to enjoy the season! I see 3 Christmas dinners & the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular on the schedule. So that ought to put me in the spirit. |

No shopping done - OK, a couple presents bought for the kid's dogs....... We do a name exchange at Thanksgiving for Todd's side, so nothing can be done until then. I love Thanksgiving, so I am in no rush. |
I'll just do what I usually do, last minute panick as christmas creeps closer |
I'm not even sure what I'm getting people this year!!!! And wif we buy the house I want? I'm only going to be baking for folks, I fear.... |
Just about done. Plane tickets came in today so that takes care of Christmas for my two sons, daughter-in-law and husband. Just have to buy a few more things for other family members and then I'm done. Can't wait to see the expression on my husband's face! |
