1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions 1/4 cup chopped cilantro 4 garlic cloves finely chopped 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh ginger 8 ounces sliced ,fresh mushrooms, stems removed 6 tablespoons soy sauce 1 1/2 cups whipping cream 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice 1/2 teaspoon lime zest Sear fish for several minutes in frying pan. Remove fish and add butter, green onions ,cilantro, ginger and garlic and pan fry until golden , several minutes in the same pan you cooked the fish. Add mushrooms , cream and soy sauce and simmer for 3-4 minutes or until sauce lightly coats the back of a spoon. Stir in lime juice and zest for another one minute cooking time. Pour over fish . This sauce is great with halibut, tuna , scallops . |
