Fool-Proof Fudge
1 (12 ounce) bag chocolate chips 1 can sweetened condensed milk 2 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup favorite chopped nuts 1 1/2 cup mini marshmallows Mix chocolate chips and sweeten condensed milk in large microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 5 minutes or until chips are melted. Stir in vanilla, nuts and marshmallows. Pour into wax paper lined 9x13 pan and chill for 2 hours until set. I don't put nuts in my fudge, but YYMV. Paula I'll be darn thats the one I lost. You hit right on. THANKS |
That's basically the recipe on the Eagle Brand website,
Had to laugh watching the Eagle Brand video, she's using a plastic handle spatula.......wonder how often she breaks them making the heavy fudge? Or else that's a heavier plastic than what I find. |
my blind Mother could make this one....and she did
Fudge 4 1/2 C sugar 1 can (13oz) evaporated milk 1/2 lb butter 18 oz chocolate chips 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup chopped pecans (optional) place butter, chips, vanilla and nuts in a large bowl........ Combine sugar and milk in a large saucepan and bring to a rolling boil...stirring constantly and boil for 10 mins......pour over ing. in bowl ...beat and blend till all solids are melted.......pour into buttered 9 x 13 pan let sit 12-24 hours before cutting.......... I keep this in an air tight container....the sides get dry |

Made this the other day...YUM!!! and easy |
Made the Eagle Brand fudge the other day. Used 2 cups semi-sweet and 1 cup special dark chips--walnuts and marshmellows for hubbie. Oh gosh, for a serious chocolate person, yummy. |
