Our mom has been busy!
Our mom has been soooooo busy, so Merlin and me, (Panda) are writing on her behalf. We know she's walks to the beat of a different drummer - whatever that means. As some of you know, Mom bought our forever dream home but is going a little nutty running two households and running back and forth from each daily. Means a double morgage for the next month so she's frantically trying to get our current home ready for sale or rent. Poor Mom she's busy from dawn to dusk but maybe by Christmas things will have settled down and she'll be able to visit you more often. Mom has some of the critters at the new place (the cats) who were the previous unadoptable fosters living with us. Mom says they have to get used to the house before Merlin and I go live there full time. It's all Merlins fault as sometimes he takes evil pleasure in chasing them to play. Next will be the kitties that have been living with her for years, then the other critters and then Merlin and I. She says that way if anyone got out accidently they had time to get used to the new place and not be frightened to return. Anyhow, Merlin and I get to visit twice daily - it's like our very own dog park, although mom is starting to get a wee bit tired. Merlin and I look like giant dogs next to those little recreations of the churches/hotels the previous owner made of the Cariboo Gold Trail which is very much part of British Columbia's history. She'll write soon! Enjoy the pics! (Mom borrowed a camera phone to take pics so they're a bit fuzzy).

OH!!! Marianne The yard is lovely..so many interesting things..I love the covered picnic area and the bench under the trellis!!! What an enchanting home!!! I can't wait to see pictures of the rest of it!!! Good Luck and take care of yourself!!! Don't get too exhausted running from house to house...please!!!! |

Marianne, your new garden looks beautiful! It looks like a fairy tale garden! I also have to say that your bunnies melted my heart! We still haven't gotten one but when we do, I will name her after you!

You know you guys are always welcome to stay should you ever be in the area although I might get a bit hyper when I see your sheepies. Panda is the calm one. 
Hey I met some of the locals who came to visit Panda and I on some of our visits to the new place. My mom got teary as one ole boy looked identical to Ole Blue!!!! He raced to the garden gate and tried to get in to play with us!!!! Mom found out he lives across the street. Another friend a GS met us at the side fence - it's chain link and about 5 ft in length - the only place where the fence isn't wood so we could see our new neighbor. I was noisy but Panda did his usual bum wiggle. Those people live on the other side of the hydro easement but probably let their boy have a run on the bare land on the other side of us. The canine neighbors sure seemed friendly! Gotta go - mom needs to let me out for the night for my bathroom break before bed. See Ya! Love Merlin |
