I am wondering do dogs with tick borne disease have swollen lymphe nodes???? |
|
Yes, some tick bourne diseases can cause lymph node involvement.
Its best to have your Vet exam and test your dog if you think a tick exposure has occurred and you are seeing possible symptoms. Don't delay evaluation, tick diseases can progress quickly. Hope Donner feels better. |
our vet has switched from the annual heartworm inhouse test to one thattest for heartworm and Lye. he said he has about three positive heartworms in a year and three positive Lymes in a week. |
Quin was at the vet today and
we sent off a cytology on his lymphe nodes, a tick panel and a general health profile. He is back and forth on how he feels.. Just waiting on test results, all I can do is wait |
First results in....Platelt count low all else normal...
This is indicative of Immune Mediated disease.. From what?? We don't know yet.. Will keep up to date with what we find out... |
hoping the reason isn't so serious and he's back on top quickly. So many possibilities........keep pushing for answers and treatments. |
Quin's chemistry panel came back last night.
All was normal EXCEPT a platlet count of 85 I was expecting it too be low BUT, that is pretty low... We are still waiting on the rest of the results. He really is feeling bad, I feel so bad for my baby!~ |
