How far away is the neuter? I'd have it repaired then. No big deal. In the mean time keep an eye on it, whether it gets larger or becomes inflamed or he had trouble with his bowels. |
Yep - same response.
Fix it with the neuter, unless it becomes problematic. |
It is not a problem but our vet seem to think we could not repair at all. I am not sure about that. |
I'm not an expert, but I would probably have it repaired when the neuter is done. I don't like leaving things to chance. And...if the vet goes in to repair it at that time and finds it doesn't really need to be done that's okay news, too. But if it isn't fixed and something does go horribly wrong down the road, you'll really regret it.
I'd fix it, especially if he's going to be sedated anyway. |
Becky,
If your Randy is anything like my Randy, call the vet and ask what they said. My dh never seems to get it right and NEVER asks questions. If I am not the one taking the dogs to the vet I make sure there is a conference call. That way no one gets confused and I get all my questions answered. |
