At meal times, I have been very careful keeping Willoughby pointed in the opposite direction from the kitchen and one of the cat dishes. He has a station just ouside the kitchen where he can see everything that goes on, but he's attached for his and my safety. There are stairs just outside the kitchen and I don't want either of us to go flying! However, the last two weeks have been very busy so I'm somewhat distracted. I think this has been noticed by my household companions! At any rate, I took him downstairs to the TV room before I went to work and was turning on his radio when I noticed that I was alone in the room! Looking around, I realized that I had forgotten to put up the baby gate and he had shot up the stairs behind me in a flash to the kitchen. By the time I caught up with him, he'd emptied the cat dish. I marched him back down the stairs and put up the gate. But the look on his face was priceless: very smug and pleased with himself. Needless to say, the cats were shocked. |

I really like the way you put that for some reason, like you have a house full of animals |
If my 2 get upstairs they just fly in and out of the rooms, grabbing tissues, toilet rolls, socks you name it.... |
I think in my house I am going to start feeding the dogs cat food and the cats dog food. Maybe they will just continue to steal each others food and just get it right!
