The Wizard of Oz. I can't not watch it if it's on.
Star Wars & Planet of the Apes for me. I've lost count on how many times I've seen any of them. My husband's is Animal House!!!!!
Super Troopers - because my son was obsessed with it and watched it over and over.......it is so stupid it's funny - and sucks you into watching!
Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back... I'm deep into triple digits in those. All three Lord of the Rings too, though I don't think I've hit the 100 mark yet.
Christmas Vacation with Chevy Case. Every year.
It's a Wonderful Life.

Deana, what parts did you and Richard play when you dressed up for Rocky Horror? Brad and Janet?
NOPE, I was Frankenfuter ( Tim Curry ) and Richard was Rocky. That was in Richards thinner days LOL.
I had a wig just like Frankenuter, fish net stockens ect. Make-up to the hilt.. Wish I could find the old photes. Sometime over the trs after moveing we lost my old pics, even the ones when I weighed in at 256 lbs.YUCK. I am haft that now. LOL
We watched rocky horror .... last night too!!!!!!! People in my barracks would, and knew all the things to say during the songs and would dance like crazy to them. It was a blast to watch! Watching it last night brought back memories.

I used to work at a movie place, so........... I've seen 100 movies 40+ times AND dressed up (or at least were supposed to) ;)

Wizard of Oz, Austin Powers, and Grease were a few we dressed up as...

we watch this after dinner every year on Thanksgiving

I have seen parts of all the Star Wars Movies so many times I don't want to count (hubby watches them over and over and over)

I must have seen Little Mermaid and SpaceBalls 100 times when the kids were young (yeah odd combo)

For me - the gidget movies (I even own a DVD set  )
The Princess Bride.
The sound of music, grease, breakfast at tiffany's, gone with the wind and pay it forward......

ive also watched the original night of the living dead and 28 days over and over, but that is for my sick mind trying to figure out where a good hiding place would be... 8O

Have you read Max Brooks' World War Z yet? He also wrote the Zombie Survival Guide. Adam is obsessed with both of them, and with Shaun of the Dead.
Casablanca

As a matter of fact I'm watching in now,

kid :D

Him and me both! I can't wait for WWZ to be made into a movie, which I know is supposed to be in the works. In the event of a zombie attack, I feel so much safer having read both of the books! Shaun of the Dead is another movie that if it's on and I'm flipping through the channels, I'll always watch it. It never gets not funny.
i loved shaun of the dead too.....the backyard scene with the shovel cracks me up!

Agreed; we have that one running in the house alot. Adam spent all his life with an incurable fear for Zombie films... until he saw Shaun of the Dead. We even dressed as Shaun and Ed for Halloween last year
I was flipping back and forth on Rocky last night too! Husband is not a fan so when he nodded off, I was there! I've actually not seen the whole thing...bits and pieces. Some day start to finish.

Ditto Christmas Vacation, also the Christmas Die Hard movies (don't tell my priest, LOL.) Also It's a Wonderful Life from where my nickname came from.........no, not Clarence.

Many times watched, Red River, The Searchers, Stage Coach, High Noon, Shane, Hunt for Red October.......no smuchy love stories for me.

I'm with you; I have little tolerance for romantic comedies and love stories. Bring me action, drama and a good comic book flick!
breakfast at tiffanys and gone with the wind arent about the love story (although it is nice..) Its about the clothes, hair and of course shoes! :D

Well of course it's a fav or yours!
I am a huge fan of the Pirates of the Caribean, all three of them, Medicine Man, 6 Days 7 Nights. My sister watches Beauty and the Beast at least once a week, has seen the Star Wars Trilogy so many times she know all the dialog by heart. We have a bout 5 sets of the films. She also loves Shakespeare ln love.
Late to post here, but here are the ones we've watched more times than I can count.

A Christmas Story (with Ralphie and the bb gun) - have to watch that at least 3-4 times every Christmas.

Christmas Vacation - of course!

The Wizard of Oz - when my kids were small it wasn't on VHS, was still only being shown once a year. We taped it from TV one year and the kids must have watched that movie 3-4 times/week for months! We all knew every line by heart.

Santa Claus, The Movie - I forget who played Santa, but Dudley Moore was in it as an elf, and John Lithgow was in it as a mercenary ("Christmas II!!"). Again, the kids watched it SO many times that we knew it all by heart.

David Huddleston........I have no life.
The Wizard of Oz is on tonight on TNT in case your Friday night social life is as quiet as mine.
I can watch "Hope Floats", "Sweet Home Alabama", and Jim Carreys "The Grinch"...over and over and over again.

Plus ANYTHING Chevy Chase makes...man he is a crack up.

My husband's is 'Super Troopers'

However the one I can say I watched the most throughout my life is
(drum roll please).......................................................................................

Nicholas Cage in "Valley Girl"
I had older teenage sisters...what can I say.
Oh Sweet Home Alabama - I love that one. and this time of the year I also will rewatch Serendipity. but Hope Floats - we have that in VHS and DVD :), hmm practical magic......
I'm totally a nerd. I have seen Monty Python's Holy Grail hundreds, yes hundreds, of times. I could probably sit here and type out the whole thing.

And Chris, if you don't watch the entire 24 hours of Christmas Story on Christmas day you aren't a true fan!!!
Ooh, count me in on Monty Python and the Holy Grail! My brother and I watched that SO many times growing up. It's funny because we're SO different--he's quiet and studious, I'm louder and like to party, but we just LOVED watching that movie. Maybe I'll get it for him for Christmas.

As a kid, I watched Young Guns and Young Guns II an embarassing amount of times.

These days, who has time for watching a movie, let alone watching it again, lol
husband has watched Hunt for Red October so many times I can tell what they are going to say...........I perfer Dirty Dancing......that one I never get tired of

That is me on the left, my high school boyfriend as the Frito Bandito, and my friend on the right.

This was in 1977, before all the dress-up shows started. I stopped counting after 14. Wish I was still that size...sigh.
Hubby loves Gunga Din (a movie made in 1939), I think he has watched it ever year since TV was invented and I usually watch it with him :?
oh if we are showing off costume photos now...

Image

Adam and I dressed as Shaun and Ed from Shaun of the Dead.I also dressed as a character from Kill Bill a couple of years ago. Another film I can watch over and over....
I love Shaun of the Dead...I love how he chains his zombie best friend up in the shed...cracked me up! Adam is hysterical Allison!
Adam was so excited when he found the t-shirt Ed wore in the movie on ebay....
