OES feasting on dirt - HELP!!!!!
 During her walks we have had to scold her because she eats dirt and sometimes grass. This week we had to bring in our lemon tree from outside because of the cold and during the night she had a PARTY  - tracking dirt all throughout the family room and through our bedroom. I could tell she had eaten it because it was wet. Why is she doing this - picking at perfectly good food and taking up dirt eating?
Hopefully we are not the only ones with the weird dog!!! Thanks for any tips anyone can give us - we are really perplexed over this. |

| Actually, Science Diet really isn't a very high quality food. She might actually be hungry or craving more nutrition. Or she just likes dirt. Are you sure she's eating it or just nosing around in it? If I don't watch my puppy, he comes in with a dirt mustache or sometimes a full mud beard. |

| I know my boy stopped cold when we switched to raw so I am convinced its undigested carbs they are going after - but that is based only on one dog. |
