OMG, Dale and I were SCREAMING!! We called Spencer in VA and he was already hoarse!! Such great memories of taking the kids to the games, reminiscing about the old players. My mom was such a HUGE Phillies fan all her life, and I can still remember when we won in 1980 how she called us after the game just screaming in delight. I'm sure she was smiling down on them last night. If you're not a Philadelphia (any sport) fan, you can't begin to imagine the intensity of the emotions we have for our teams. Philly won't stop celebrating all week-end!!  |
