I can't wait for the day when we can say..."Oh! I can't decide who to vote for, they are both so qualified and good!" |
|
i don't think that is human nature |
AMEN TO THAT!!!!!! |
DITTO! |
Ain't ever going to happen.
I think there is something fundamentally wrong with ANYONE who has the ego to think that they can run an entire country. But it's the best system we have. |
For the first time in many years, I am voting for a candidate, rather than against one and it feels great!
Having said that, I am soooooooooo ready for this to be over. Laurie and Oscar |

I am more concerned about the mental health of someone who wants all the headaches for what is really little pay ANd democracy is a poor system of government - until you look at all the other ones |
You know one thing I just thought of...you know how being president seems to age them so much. Like see a picture of Bush in 2000 versus today...at least McCain's already old, so there probably won't be much of a difference in his pictures... |

True - look at pictures of Bill Clinton from the beginning and at the end. It's a tough gig. Sometimes we think we have the weight of the world on our shoulders. These guys really do. |

They say this sooooooo often when someone is in the military for 20 years too. Grabbing someone else the same age will usually give you a younger less worn man even if they're in great shape and good looking. The wrinkles and aging shows more than normal. |
