Herding guests

Any time Murphy "reads" a "leaving signal" such as a person getting car keys, coat closet opening, the goodbye word etc.....he starts going nuts and barks and runs in circles trying to prevent people from leaving, doesn't matter if they are family or guests?
Anyone else?? Cure?
