Sheep are also quite hard as my son found out this week, he was reading the water meter for a trough when a ram head butted him up the backside!, so your pup was just playing safe! |
Lots of thanks for the speech for his defence But he was 18 months old at that time. The problem with him is that he has never been without his Mom as a back up. The sheep were scared as much as he was I have another story how cows attacked us, it was really scary, I am about to "publish" it. OES have unusual looks which local animals don't recognise- this is the conclusion I have come to after all our "incidents" with them. |
My first sheepdog loved to herd sheep, but the first time she encountered cattle, she learned not all animals can be bullied, especially a range savvy cow with calf! From then on she kept her distance from cattle but always growled at them......while standing behind us.
Yes, your boy has not had to think on his own. Friend has to Malmutes and the "boy" won't do anything without is mother. She's 10, he's 8. |
