One of these days I'll get a shot of one of his crazier postions. |

yeah, that looks about right according to the sheepie comfort manual |
He's hot. That's how they sleep to cool off. Only my bald dogs will sleep on the bed with me normally. Except Sybil, who isn't going to let a little discomfort stop her, so she sleeps snug up to me, on her back. Then I rub her belly till we both fall asleep. Hilarious. Her grandmother, who truly hates being hot, likes to sleep wrapped around the toilet bowl If I come across some of those pics, I'll scan one and post it. I'm trying to recall if I've ever seen another breed sleep in such contorted positions as our guys, but nothing springs to mind. KB |

MOVE? There were times in the middle of the night when I'd take her pulse because no living dog would sleep through a toilet being flushed, right? Kristine |
Reminds me of how my new dog, Winston, sleeps. Always some weird position. One night he was flat on his back with his hind legs cross in mid-air. |

MOVE...you know where you want to get out the back door to the loo and they are acting as a draught excluder, and you are going "Move" "Biscuits" "Cats" "For gods sake" legs crossed at this point, then grab their collar and drag them and they are still in the same position.. |

Bear sleeps around the toilet bowl or on his back with his feet or belly against the bathtub. Anyway that he can contort to get his face or tummy on something cool, he will. I got a nice big fan for the dog/grooming room thinking that he might like to sleep on the cool vinyl floor in there with Owen and the fan but he's afraid of the floor. I won't even get into Bear's weird OCD/flooring issues... |

I am looking at Patch right now with all fours in the air and her head contorted in a weird position. We had a 2-hour romp at the dog park this morning so she is sleeping it off. |

When I first read this I thought you meant a human grandmother and the vision was hilarious. If my g'mother (now deceased) slept wrapped around the toilet bowl she'd never get up again. Thanks for the laugh. LOL. |
My fur nuggets sleep like that every night.....even with the central air and fans on.... |
