It reminds me of our Theeps. He liked the components of soup, but not ever, ever together. Solids and liquids don't mix. So, on the few occasions I made homemade soup and felt the need to share, Portage would enjoy a small taste in a single bowl. Theeps would not touch mixed states of matter. He would not lick the broth and then eat the "stuff." Nope. He had me trained well. I knew enough to put broth in one bowl and the stuff in the other. Otherwise, he would not eat it, but would stare angrily at me for extended periods while protecting the bowl from his brother. Man, do I ever still miss him. |
