Mr J and I are HORRIBLE at restaurants. The poor waiters have to keep coming back. I'm thinking so hard too, but I usually want to eat everything, so narrowing that down to 1 doesn't work. I can't share part of hubby's meal either b/c I'm too stingy. Another good example of my stinginess... I made husband cookies for his trip. His trip has been delayed a few days due to the weather in the gulf. That was enough excuse to eat them all. "ALL" of them ..........in one sitting.

oh lordy, that is funny. I've been saying similar things since we moved here. Houston doesn't like us. The cloud over us just won't go away. From the second we left Alaska. Started from the delay at the airport and them leaving Yuki outside in the rain for several hours at the airport ...to waiting a million years for our furniture (which still hasn't arrived - expected delivery was 3 wks ago ...and half of it will arrive now for THANKSGIVING) to the oven that just doesn't want to come. Oh wait.. we've received two now. BOTH the wrong one. The flood the first day we arrived, our builder going bankrupt and the now 5 liens saying X, X, and X aren't paid for by the builder, the hurricane we had, and our house in AK is selling but that's been a nightmare to get closed too. Hopefully we can find a use for all the coal we will get for Christmas this year. We're not expecting much more than that.  |

Ha, ha! That stinks Mrs. J. I'm sorry to hear you're having a rough time of it. I must say though, you seem to be in good spirits. I would have thrown my hands up by now. |

| Having traveled around as a military family for 20 years and growing up as a military brat I feel your pain. Just know how much you will appreciate your home when it is all together, your home in Alaska sold and all is well...remember the saying "this too will pass" as it will! It sure makes you feel great when things start looking up! My husband was the patient one and would remind me how lucky we were to be together with our little ones...the military sure made you appreciate that...usually when the girls got hurt or sick he would be somewhere else. It will get better...it has too! Hang in there! |

| I think it's more of bad timing. The weather always sucked but the next major hurricane may not hit Houston area in another 20 years.For the economy Houston might be the best place to be. |
