ongoing kitchen remodel saga
On Friday the floor was laid.... Domco is the brand, it really has depth and looks like real slate... 
It sure looks and feels nice. I was so excited when the guy showed up. here the walls are primed... 
here it is painted. The color is called stormy weather. It looks exactly the color of drywall. I found this out after I had the paint mixed... Guess the color of dry wall grew on me after looking at it so long. I really like it with the flooring, the black appliances and white cabinets. 
We spent the weekend getting the Ikea cabnets together. All the uppers and then a few of the lower cabnets built too. I can get a feeling now of the kitchen. I was at a point that I felt it would never be done. I now know it will be completed.... hopefully sooner than later. |
