Here's a link to it: Wood pin pin brush I don't think you'd want to use it for an all over line groom but I was thinking it might be nice on a pet coat to work tangles a little more smoothly than a traditional pin brush (and when I'm to lazy to get up and get the proper tools. ) Any experience? Thoughts? |

I'm intrigued too, and I don't think it would be bad for show coats either. If it can remove tangles without breaking coat and tearing it out... plus the static free thing is nice... |
Yeah, I liked the no static part, too. I just wonder if the wood pins wouldn't give the show coat that extra oomph that the metal pins do, especially since the metal ones are finer pins. Who knows?
If no one gives me any poor experiences within a couple of days, I'll just order it and give my own review. At worst, I'll use it on my own hair. |
I just wonder how the wood Pins would last? If they even make it through an OES double coat to the skin?
Extra poof I find a Mason-Pearson Nylon and Bristle brush or a Pure Bristle brush floofs and poofs the coat well. If you get one lets know how it is and wether it goes through the coat OK without taking out too much undercoat. |
I got that same email from Cherrybrook.com, and was intrigued. But someone was telling me recently that I needed to look for brushes and combs with longer pins than that wooden one has....
I still like the idea of it though. |
Seems like the pins might be prone to breaking to me. But I'd like to try one out, for sure. |
