I haven't had too much experience with this, but OES tend to have sensitive stomachs. In the past it has been recommended to me to add a little yogurt to your dogs food. Enough to cover the food. One of the chemicals/active bacteria of the yogurt helps coat the pup's stomach.

Also noticed you are from Novi. From me cruising on the AKC site I noticed you have a couple of shows coming to town in a couple weeks.
Could be fun to check out.
Ahhh! The dreaded doggy diarrhea! :(
What are you feeding your Sheepie?

El Gato is correct. Sheepies do tend to have more sensitive stomachs than other breeds.

When Maggy has her little bouts of diarrhea -- usually brought on by too many 'cookies' or 'doggy treats' -- I give her cooked brown rice along with her kibble. (white rice is good, brown is better)

Also -- Yogurt is a favorite for stuffing KONGS around here. Maggy and the fosters all love their KONGS. I don't give more that a teaspoon or two per KONG though.
Chicken & Rice (or Chicken & rice based dry foods/kibbles) are good - We use a British brand called Wafcol - they do a range of hypo-allergenic / gluten (wheat) free foods that seem to have worked wonders on Woof's digestion!

Also I've stopped giving Woof treats, with the exception of plain Bonio biscuits.

One breeder I spoke to recently recommended feeding tripe as this slows the digestive system down - not been brave enough to try that yet.....
I tried the rice thing once and spent the next hour picking up little pieces all over the house. He would put it in his mouth, trot off, play with it, leave it and come back for more. Not fun finding rice in between your toes!

How old is Sherman and what is his background?

I would be concerned about giardhia and/or parasites and suggest a fecal sample be analyzed by the Vet (if it hasn't already). It's not something the Vet should just be throwing medicine at - without knowing the root cause. IMHO. What tests have they done????

This could also be the food he's eating.

Rule out a medical condition first - then see about switching his food.

Good Luck!
Kristen
Again, check it out to make sure it is not anything medically. If not and it is just something they ate. Try a 1/2 tablet of Pepto Bismo. For Lucy who has the most sensitive stumach it has been wonderful and will stop it right away!! Good Luck!
Before Pirate went on adult food (Natures Choice) he would have random bouts of diarrhea that I really couldn't attribute to anything. When this would happen, I'd give him 1 Immodium AD. That would usually do the trick.

Now that he's on big boy food, he doesn't seem to have the problem anymore. Maybe the puppy food was just too rich for this sheepie's belly.

Good luck!

Lizzie had a really BAD problem with diahrea. It's only an occasonal thing now. We finally found the right mix of food for her sensitive skin. A dry food that's formulated for sensitive skin and coat, mostly salmon. And soft cat food (yes cat food), anything of the better brands that have fish. Since I hide her meds in the soft food, I've been buying cat food for her, as it's the only thing I can find that has fish or chicken as the main ingredient. It seems to be working. Her fur and skin are looking LOTS better. She still appears to have a lot of puppy fur yet, but I can see some adult fur coming in around her rear legs. Long story short, I can put up with an occasional bout of diahrea as long as her skin and fur are looking so much better.
I agree with Kristen get the medical tests done. What kind of food are you feeding? If his tests come back negative a day of no food heals an upset stomach. We have done that here a few times when our sheepie had a virus. Then we fed boiled chicken thighs with rice small meals about 4 a day and if all system work start adding the dog food. Good luck
