| Hi everybody,I dont currently own an OES,(cry for me) but am hoping to adopt one from OES rescue soon as they have one,my favourite song is a ditty called Mr Kelly,about an OES,I had the record(yes,it was a long time ago)and it reminds me of when I was desperately saving to buy my first OES puppy at age 15 Rod MCKuen sang it,he put out a small paperback book with his song words and photos of his OES.It was all I had while I worked and waited and saved. |

I used to dance to that with my fav foster boy Bevyn. |
my most recent favourite is Perfect Day sung by Paul McDermott (an aussie icon) because it reminds me how lucky I was to get a puppy this year out of the blue... (the song Perfect Day is a link on my signature) reminds me how truly blessed I am to own and OES  |

It takes me back to 1976. John and I were highschool sweethearts, and, I can still see him in his platform shoes , low slung jeans, and jean jacket. Oh what memories. |

Oh my gosh! I loved Rod McKuen!!!! For some reason the song, What a wonderful world, by Louis Armstrong is a sentiment favorite of mine. I sort of smile/tear up when I hear it. It reminds me of a special uncle of mine that passed away.. and I don't know why. I once asked my aunt if he had loved that song, but she said she didn't think so. But somehow his memory attached itself to that song for me. |
