just have it on for noise.....that last hour of the today show with Kathy Lee drives me nuts.....what to the rest of you think |
|
I am not overly fond of Kathy Lee....................... |
Kathy who...... |
Ugh. She's so annoying. I'm a Today show watcher and I was on maternity leave all summer, but as soon as her hour came on, changed the channel as fast as I could! |
Her voice is like nails on a chalk board to me... |
I liked Hoda (?sp) but Kathie Lee is just a silly drip! |
"the last hour" in general sucks since they started it. I only watch [when I do have the time] UP TO that point. Matt Lauer has always been a cutiepatootie to me. |
I am so glad I am not the only one.......sometimes when you are home with only your OES....you wonder if you are loosing it......we have been takeing long walks during that hour........never liked Kathy Lee....but she thinks she is wonderful |

Exactly!!!! |
she is sooo annoying! i watched her for the first time while on vacation....it looks like she trys to steal all of the limelight...i dont feel too bad for hoda though, personally, i think she is a sniveler....she didnt lose her hair or her boob but she whined and cried the whole time....i guess no one told her to ''SUCK IT UP'' |
Kathie Lee = turn off the TV
Many of these TV personalities are legends in their own mind As for NBC-the financial market is crumbling, Wall Street is in shock and disbelief and the Today show is interviewing..... Brittney Spears mom who is pushing her book- --It's no wonder I don't watch am tv. Can't wait for tomorrows news during Today Show-- *Devil Rays change their name to Rays **Bank takeover-new bank now called... $ Brittney Spears Bank of America $ and in other news.... |
Personally, I prefer morning news shows to be lighter than not. I'd rather watch an interview with Lynne Spears than hear 'experts' drone on and on about the crumbling market (which I think they are partially at fault for spooking people into thinking things are worse than they are, and then they get worse, because people were spooked). If I want real news, I'll watch the pm news or go to a news channel. |

Yeah, I definitely don't want to think too hard in the morning. |
I agree...both morning shows have gotten sooo political...we see sooo many ads everywhere and hear so much on the nightly news and other programs...I know how much gas is...I know groceries cost more...I get it and the news programs going on and on doesn't help! The hardest courses I took when getting a masters in business was economics...nobody agrees on what makes an economy strong or weak...we can only look at the trends. There were so many theories and differing opinions. The housing industry isn't going to change overnight nor is the credit situation...bottom line is too much credit was granted to people who knew they couldn't pay it back...it may take some time to overcome it all and I think they need to go back to more rigid credit requirements. Too many people want to live above their means and it make take awhile for things to get better...hearing about it 24/7 doesn't make people feel better...I have stopped watching the morning shows on both channels at least until the elections are over. I've taken up reading in the am with my coffee...much better way to start my morning. |
