Dew claws

I was giving Chandi a bath today and i noticed a claw on the inside of his back left leg- Is this a dew claw that did not get removed- he does not have this claw on any of his other legs- I am worried. What should i do.

It sounds like a dew claw.

If she ever needs surgery or anesthesia, get it taken off then. Otherwise, I would just leave it.
Luna has 2 rear ones as well. I talked to my vet about it, and she suggested that I must make sure to keep it properly trimmed, as the walking that naturally wears down her other claws won't do the same for her dew ones.
I have a Schipperke or Cattledog mix that has two back dew clays. I think Darby, one of my OESs, also had at least one back dew claw but it was removed... I had found a bump and a scar. Unless it's a floppy-type dew claw and a risk of being caught on things, I'd leave it alone. Just trim it as you do all other toe nails.
I guess i will just keep an eye on it , it does not seem to bother him. I just find it strange that he only has one! Thanks for your comments.
I would bring it to yuor breeders attention as well. my guess is they paid to have them both removed.
