blackie is whining and trying to hump the children

Beautiful blackie is 13 years old and not neutered. We were baby sitting a small dog for 2 1/2 weeks. After the small dog left, Blackie has gone crazy. Constantly whining, and the other day hopped on the sofa and proceded to try to mount a 8 year old, then today hoped on the sofa again and tried to hump me. what is going on, he has been a perfect dog. !!!!
