Kim - Don't do it!!!! |
If you clip them you will have a riot at your door |
LOL I have semi clipped hattie she got matted in the kennels!! when I was on hols. as they don't groom there!!! I took hattie to the groomers after our hols I was so disapointment when i got her back!!! she was a mess.. she clipped her chest of which was the worse matting.. but she was so uneven i had to do somethink!!! The clippers are for maizie as you know shes hates being brushed... And she also got matted in kennels. So im not taking her back to the groomers I have started clipping her down myself so I need a good pair of clippers to tidy her up...
and I sure i can do a better job....!!! |
we got some for our last sheepie...hubby used to be a barber so knows what he is doing....Summer hates them. I think from being clipped in Vets at Easter. She will have to get used to them though, they were over £100! |
Everytime Archie bites me when I tug a matt I do think it would be easier sometimes, but I think he'd be even worse with clippers
I take it you had no luck with Matt breakers? Archies coat is so prone to clumping at the moment I just continually work through him each day a little at a time, that is when I can fool him and not let him run off to his cage ( I never attempt to remove him from their it is his safe zone) |
At least Archie runs to his cage, Rufus still has to be bribed to go in every time!
I'm so sorry Hattie & Maizie got matts at the kennels I don't know anything about clippers, I can only imagine scenes of total chaos if I switched them on near Ru, I hope you find good ones |
