I know this is probably a touchy subject for some of you, so I'm asking everyone to refrain from any type of debate, "please" just answer the following question: Who do you want to win the Presidential election: McCain or Obama? Thank you for your help! My answer: McCain |
|
I couldn't help myself -- I added a few more options to the poll! |
ha! thanks Ron; I think we are trained in this country to forget that there are choices other than the Republican and Democratic candidates! I particularly like the "I don't know" and "it doesn't really matter". |
McCain Palin!!!
My husband would wear a t-shirt that said her name daily if he could. She's a cougar that makes my husband turn his head. |
Isn't "cougar" slang for a woman of age who goes after younger men? |
It's also used just to describe a woman over 40 who is hot.
If she does go after younger men, I'm glad my husband isn't near AK or DC. |

Yup, that is the most common definition of "cougar". The more I watch her, the more that definition fits. She eats what she kills. Not that I think there's anything wrong with that. |
Mouthypf, I was wondering when someone would bring up the election. I should have known it would be you I love politics, and am always ready to express my opinion.
But, since you don't want a debate, I'm voting for McCain. |

Who do you want to win the Presidential election: McCain or Obama? This election is critical and ABSOLUTELY NONE OF THE ABOVE!!!! Can we run another poll with a selection of people we think can get the job done? |
I was hoping NO ONE would bring up the election
I love and respect all my fellow forum mates but we don't share the same political beliefs! |

But, since you don't want a debate, I'm voting for McCain. Really, Sue? For some reason, I had you pegged as a democrat. Since no one ever runs on the Libertarian Conservative/Minarchist ticket with a touch of Objectivism thrown in, it makes it hard for me to pick someone I like. |
I'm voting McCain/Palin. |

I agree, I really hate the 2 party system. I have never voted for one of the 2 party candidates for as long as I've been old enough to vote. |
What amazes me is that everyone is jumping on the Palin bandwagon and she has yet to utter a single policy statement! Basically all we know is that she is pro life, supports the death penalty (not sure how those two beliefs mesh), doesn't believe that global warming is "human" made; supports the NRA and is a pretty crack marksmen.
Not sure where the ability to run the largest country in the free world fits in there. What I want to know is WHAT a Candidate (any candidate) is going to do to solve the ecomonic crisis, the war, the social security mess, our healthcare mess, and the dismal shape our education system is in. I don't care if they are black, white, female, a POW or a beauty queen. WHAT are they going to do to make this country better. |

You say that like the candidates actually know what they're gonna do, lol. |

Since no one ever runs on the Libertarian Conservative/Minarchist ticket with a touch of Objectivism thrown in, it makes it hard for me to pick someone I like. My problem exactly - I'm a limited government fiscal conservative, and I really don't care what you do in your personal life as long as you don't break any laws or bother me . I am another one who hates the two party system. I'm registered as an Independent. I'm voting for the guy McCain was in 2000, before he realized that the only way to win the election was to cater to "the base". |

JMHO |
I'm voting for the first pol to run on the "2 Sheepies in every bed" platform. |

Dude, I don't even know if I'd vote for that! |
