So sorry about your loss. Many of us have been where you are and especially with having such a quiet house and empty heart right. Please find comfort in the "Rainbow Bridge" section of this forum and when you're ready, we would love to hear about your girl.
Regarding rescue, you contacted the right person, especially since you're in MA. I am sure she'll have a new addition that fits in your household in no time. You can also look on Petfinder.com but if there is an OES available for adoption in your area, I'm sure Grannie is involved somehow. A lot of people also transport OES's to her from other parts of the US for placement. |
Jan,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Sheepie. 'Guest' said it perfectly. I too hope that one day you will be able to share your story with us in the Rainbow Bridge Section of the forum. Did you get your application in to Grannie Annie at NEOSR? Welcome to the forum! Please come back often. One can never replace a beloved Sheepie, but a new addition can help you heal. If you adopt a rescued Sheepie, you can heal together and a beautiful bond is created. That has been my experience. Hopefully together we can find a Sheepie to fill your home once again. Please be patient. The right one for you will come along when you least expect it. Nancy |
Thank you. Yes we did fill out an appplication. Annie has us on her list. I will have to post a picture of our sweet OES, Liza. She was born deaf and was a wonderful girl. Looking forward to having another one. |
Jan,
I'm sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you - I know how difficult it is and hope that the right dog comes into your life soon! Annie is wonderful and I'm sure she'll be able to fill your heart and home with another wonderful OES. I'm sure Liza will have a hand in this as well - when it's right - it seems to fall into place! Hang in there! I also have a deaf girl. Aren't they the best??? Where in MA are you located? Kristen (in Rhode Island) |
Hi we live in Millbury, Mass, and yes deaf dogs are wonderful!!! Jan |
I have a girl I am looking to place in a FOREVER home.
She is 7 and spade. She is a sweetie pie. She talks like a wookie in Starwars, and loves cuddles. I would say "NO CATS" in the home however. Please contact me. oesgwynedd@msn.com Ali |
I am so sorry about your loss. I lost one of my little ones back in December and I felt like an idoit for how much I cried. But I cried and cried like a baby and then I cried some more. Just let it out it really does help. We had just hired an new doctor at work and I think he thought I had lost my mind. But really, crying does help!! |
