I have noticed that Harry loves to lay in the dining room like Mopsy did because of the hardwood floors and the low windows where you can see out even if lying down. He is three now. So I casually made a comment to Tim yesterday when we went to the store that I am thinking of giving Harry the front rooms when we are gone. And I mentioned that we would ease into it slowly like when we were only gone for an hour, etc. Maybe, I would even start doing my sewing in there to make sure he knows that he can not get on that furniture. Mopsy completely understood that. I SAID all of that but my husband has the selective hearing of a sheepdog....... So he calls me as he is driving into work today and says he left the front open for Harry. What do you suppose I will find? Harry gets to lie on the furniture in the back but that never included the furniture in the front room. Plus he likes to get "silly" before he sleeps and often that involves pushing yourself across the floor by SHOVING off on the furniture. Why don't men ever listen? |

honestly I don't think they are capable |
He did it!!!!
Only one chair shoved aside in the process of sleeping. That happens when I am home anyway. He was at the window when I pulled into the driveway and then he ran to greet me at the kitchen door like he always does. He seemed so happy and pleased with himself that he earned the front room. |
good job harry!! stay off the furniture, so you dont lose privilages!! |
Good dog, Harry! Our Phoebe loves to look out the low front windows. Its so nice to come home and see her sweet face waiting for us. |
