To clarify, by improving I mean he is doing it less, not that he is getting better at it What we've managed to do is get him to either sit or down by the side of the road and take treats instead of lunging like a maniac towards the cars. If I leave him in a stand he will still lunge at anything going by (cars, cyclists, joggers) but in a sit he's getting pretty good. He is almost 90% on this now and we're very proud of him but the lesson doen't carry over to walking and letting the cars pass.
Any suggestions on how to move from a tense but obedient sit to a casual walk and ignore? |

oh that is my duffy to a tee, i never had a oes do this so will hope some will post.. i had a scare last week end left the gate open and duff ran after my neighbor down to the main rd.. of course i ran with no shoes on and had to carry him home no funnnnnnnnnn |
