After trying a 82 lb rescue OES with my 25 lb Tibetan Terrier and returning her because of guarding issues and trying to bite Rosie...I really felt terrible having to return her to rescue...it was the hardest thing I've done. I just couldn't take a chance of something happening to Rosie, my loyal friend for 8 years...but still I want another puppy! I was thinking an OES because when I got Rosie we had Daisey the 10 yr. old OES who was wonderful with her! Daisey was a easy, no issues OES as had been my former OES Callie. What I guess I forgot was we had 2 kids, a busy household and just different environment. Now there is just me and my husband, quiet most times and Rosie. It gets lively with company and my daughter and grandchild visiting but mostly quiet...well, I made the decision to get a Tibetan Terrier puppy from a breeder in Virginia..a female I will call Maggie Mae...should have her soon as soon as arrangements are finalized! She even looks like a sheepdog puppy...just will only be 25 lbs. grown. Rosie and I are going to have fun and a few sleeplessnights soon!!!! It's been a difficult process getting to this point but I am so excited! |
