Hello all you Michiganders. Is that the right term? My husband and I are going to Michigan to visit my brother and sister-in-law on the 13th of January. Crazy time to visit up north but they couldn't make it down for the holidays and I am off work on MLK day, so off we go. They live outside a little town called Chelsea which is about an hour from Ann Arbor. They live in a log home surrounded by some really pretty woods. My sister-in-law raises Welsh Springer Spaniels. Check out her website when you have a moment, they are pretty dogs (trystyn@cac.net). Do any of you live near Ann Arbor? I'm always curious when I see a new member from Michigan since we have family ties there. |

I used to live near the border, and miss it very much 
If it wasn't winter I'd drive down! It is a 6 hour trip however, and not a good idea at this time of year. I plan on going down a couple of times this summer, for dog shows and to see friends. |
I'm in a Detroit suburb about 30 minutes east of Ann Arbor. Mom & I go antiquing in Ann Arbor once a month.
Right now it's 40 and foggy - you never know what the weather will be like in Michigan!
