Inquiring Minds Want To Know!
2001 I went to Paris , I was hostess of an online magicians chat group..ha! Kinda like this group except bigger and only magicians had access. Magicians visited from 80 different countries. Anyhoooooooow....I went to Paris and Kaj (pronounced Kai) was visiting there from Holland. My son who was 14 joined me after the first 3 wks. I had told Kaj that my parents met under the Eiffel Tower when they were 16 and 18 and how romantic that was. Kaj and I tried that but I lost my son in the crowds of zillions and experienced terror for the next 2 hours. So much for that! We spent 6 wks together before each of us returned to our own countries. For seven years Kaj has visited Canada, called me every week and mailed me daily. He's stayed as long as 6 months and as short as 1 wk. I couldn't move to Holland as I've got my pets and even tho my sons are now are their own I couldn't leave them to live elsewhere. Kaj had a wonderful job in Holland so we were at a standstill. Last year he got a job in Canada - the same field as he had in Europe, just had to wait for immigration to go through. It took a year but the papers finally came through aprox a week after I saw my dream home in late January. He had to finish a project at his job before flying to Canada. He designs computer games for X-box, Playstation ect... 10 days after he arrived I took him to see the house and had to experience the ups/downs of someone else interested in it as well. In the end we got it and take pocession Oct 20th. I was able to keep my current home as I wished, so that transferring the 30 assorted critters will be easier then will put up my house for sale or rent it. I'm still stunned at the events..For years I raised the kids/took in numerous injured pets and was always financially strapped. At times I worked 4 jobs to keep my home. In the blink of an eye that all changed although it took 7 years in the making. I may have complained a few times over the years, but in the end my skinny long haired hippy/dark magician type b/f are together. He's got the biggest heart, my kids both like him, the pets adore him and I love him. 
So that's the story of the "Dude" as Darcy referred to him as....  |

| Aaahhh, the rest of the story! I couldn't see how someone working four jobs could afford such a big home and property! The maitenance alone would be a killer. Even with two it will be tough, but two may make it easier.
