We are watching but concerned! No more vomit, thank goodness but still a bit of diarea. Any ideas! PS We have a great vet. We've had her for both OES's almost 16 years. |

When Lulu has had an upset tummy, my vet suggested I give her Imodium. I give her 1 tablet in the morning and one sometimes in the evening depending on how her poops look. She is usually back to normal within a day or two. After a few trips to the vet and spending over $100 per visit, I think I have narrowed it down to a certain kind of rawhide that makes Lulu a little under the weather for a few days. You would never know anything was wrong with her by her actions but what I have to clean up is a different story.
Hope this helps. Michelle, Lulu, Dudley and the new addtion Lexie (12 week OES) |
Bella has never had rawhide but I know what you mean about actions and "results". The vet asked "On a ten scale how was she?" I said " about a 9 but considering she's normaly a 12 . . . " You got to love them they are worse than kids. I never had to scrub my kids butt like that.
Oh well. |
Those were the initial symptoms for both of Ben's obstructions. Once an eater, always an eater.
Were any X-rays or scans done? |
Bless. I hope she is a bit better. I go into panic mode with Summer after Easter when we almost lost her. Summer eats dirt out the garden though, she thinks its a game. You just cant leave her out there by herself, hopefully she will grow out of it. |
Bella, seems to be a bit better today. She is eating the rice and cottage cheese and drinking more. She is still on the antinausa and antibiotics. the poop is still thin but not liquid.
Thanks for all the consern and help. When our kids get sick we get worried. |
